Conlons Opticians & Conlons Hearing Care in Dumfries

Conlons has been established in Dumfries since 1978. We were originally trading from Bank Street and in 1983 moved to our larger more modern location on High Street just next to the Clydesdale Bank and across the road from The Bank of Scotland.

Conlons have the largest range of designer frames and sunglasses in the town, stocking over 12 different designer frame ranges including Emporio Armani and Christian Dior, as well as ranges of designer sunglasses from Oakley, Rayban and Maui Jim. We specialises in fitting all types of contact lenses including, soft, gas permeable, toric, multifocal and extended wear contact lenses.

Alison, Paul and Fran have over 50 years of optical experience between them and are happy to answer any questions you may have about eyecare or eyewear or why not pop in for coffee and a chat. We are able to offer a 1 hour glazing service in some cases and we have recently installed a fundus camera to help identify problems occurring at the back of the eye. In Dumfries we collect used postage stamps for Action for the Blind and unwanted spectacle for use by Vision Aid Overseas. We have and continue to support The Lions Club, Children in Need and Cancer Research.
