Penrith is a traditional market town in the Lake District. Conlons, already well-established in Kendal and Carlisle, opened in Penrith in October 1999 to improve our service in the North Lakes region.
Conlons has the largest range of designer frames and sunglasses in the town, stocking over 12 different designer frame ranges including Prada, Christian Dior and Oakley as well as collections of designer sunglasses from Ray-Ban, Maui Jim and Oakley. Our Contact Lens Optician specialises in fitting all types of contact lenses, including, soft, gas permeable, toric, multifocal and extended wear lenses and prides herself on being able to offer contact lenses to 99% of her patients.

In Penrith we collect used postage stamps for Action for the Blind and unwanted spectacle for use by Vision Aid Overseas. We have, and continue to support Cancer Research in our charity work.
The store has several test rooms and a huge range of eyewear and accessories. We provide state of the art equipment including field screening and retinal screening. |
