Conlons has been established in Widnes since 1946 located in Simms Cross. In the 1980s the branch moved to its new larger home in Albert Road near the entrance to the Green Oaks shopping Centre. The store was refitted again recently, giving us a bright new store, offering fantastic designer product.
Conlons has the largest range of designer frames and sunglasses in the town, stocking 12 different designer frame ranges including Bvlgari, Prada, Versace and Christian Dior. We also stock designer sunglasses from Oakley and Ray-Ban. Our Contact Lens Optician specialises in fitting all types of contact lenses, including, soft, gas permeable, toric, multifocal and extended wear lenses and prides himself on being able to offer contact lenses to 99% of his patients.

Lisa, Paul, Jonathan and Joanne have over 70 years of optical experience between them and are happy to answer any questions you may have about eyecare or eyewear or why not pop in for coffee and a chat. We have recently installed a fundus camera to help identify problems occurring at the back of the eye.
In Widnes we are very proud of our achievements; we are one of Conlon’s longest established branches. We are a Carl Zeiss Vision Centre and specialise in dispensing children. We collect used postage stamps for Action for the Blind and unwanted spectacle for use by Vision Aid Overseas. In the last three years we have raised over £1500 for Cancer Research in our charity work, including parachute jumping and white water rafting. |
