| A distance prescription is for general purpose. If you are under 40 it is probably your only prescription. If you are over 40 you may also have a separate prescription for close work. If you are long sighted you may only wear your distance prescription for reading – however it is still a distance prescription of you can see clearly with it far away. A basic distance prescription may have a sphere, a cylinder and an axis. |
