| An enhanced eye exam includes retinal photography as an optional extra to the standard eye test. This uses a sophisticated digital camera system to take photographs of the back of your eyes that can then be checked over thoroughly by the optometrist and then stored digitally for future comparison so that even the smallest of changes can be detected.
