If you have a complaint about an optician or optician's business that cannot be resolved to your satisfaction by the company concerned then you can make free use of the Optical Consumer Complaints Service (OCCS) - an independent arbitration service run by the General Optical Council. OCCS can almost always resolve any service issues you may have and are duty bound to refer any serious issues where an optician is at fault to the General Optical Council who can then assess a practitioner's fitness to practice. |
