Hugo Boss, named after it's founder, started in a small workshop in Metzinge, Germany back in 1923. After 70 years of being a clothing line manufacturer, they finally launched their fragrance division and began expanding their market diversity. They now sell womenswear, menswear, footwear, accessories, fragrances and more.
Over time, a decision was made to separate the company into "BOSS Hugo Boss" and "HUGO Hugo Boss". This created a split in the fashion lines allowing the company to assume different unique styles and target different audiences. "BOSS Black", "BOSS Selection", "BOSS Orange" and "BOSS Green" are all fashion lines part of the core BOSS brand.
Hugo Boss designer glasses have been described as innovative with vibrant colours. Their frame designs have been influenced by a range of different styles from vintage, three-dimensional to new industrial.
